Cutting

ATM Brilliant 250 The ATM extensive range of wet abrasive cut-off machines make it possible to section many different shapes and sizes of any engineering material.

We offer a large choice of vices and custom built clamping devices. All cut-off machines are built as one-piece construction in heavy gauge aluminium. This makes them very solid and torsion resistant. The surfaces are powder coated to give them a scratch resistant and easy to clean finish.

Some models operate manually and others are computer-controlled. All of the functions are variable and can be controlled to produce low contact, cool cuts.

An easy and user-friendly operation goes without saying. The cutters can be equipped with optional manual or automatic cross feed, the latter allowing production of multiple slices fully automatically, or surface grinding with the use of a cup wheel.

Mounting

ATM Opal 450 Our fully automatic and water cooled electro-hydraulic hot mounting presses can produce mounts from 25 to 70mm diameter.

Rectangular and double mounts are also available. Variable temperature and pressure controls are used to minimise both the cycle time and energy usage.

Polishing and Grinding

ATM Saphir 550 Our range of grinding and polishing machines are suitable for wheel sizes from 200mm to 300mm diameter.

When an automatic head is included, your process can be automated, giving more reproducible results. The automatic heads will allow both individual and central pressure, and closing systems for controlled dispensing of polishing media are available.

A variety of standard and custom-made specimen holders can be selected.
