KRUSS

KRUSS is has been advancing for more than 50 years' in surface tension measurement. They have developed from process measuring to scientific research instruments. If you looking for solutions – KRUSS is looking for new challenges. This is why the experiences of thousands of satisfied users are reflected in every KRUSS instrument.
The choice of measuring methods depends on your application task at hand. KRUSS therefore offers a multitude of high-quality measuring systems for:
- static surface tension and interfacial tension measurement of liquids
- dynamic surface tension and interfacial tension measurement of liquids
- contact angle and surface energy measurement on solid surfaces.
K100 - Universal Tensiometer
The K100MK2 is the universal tensiometers, which has been optimised to be more precise with a high degree of automation and the latest technical analysis standards. Additionally the K100MK2 has a built-in ionizer to eliminate electrostatic charge. Features include:
- Surface and interfacial tension measurement of liquids
- Dynamic contact angle measurements
- Extended CMC - Critical Micelle Concentration - determination with new innovative double dosing system
- Surface energy calculations on solids, powders, pigments, fibres, etc.
- Measuring the density of liquids
- Sedimentation and sediment resistance measurements
DSA100 - Modular Contact Angle Measurement
The concept of the DSA100 encompasses everything from manual to fully automated contact angle measurement. With its modular concept, virtually any level of automation can be achieved – even with post-sales additions.
Features include:
- Fully modular
- Manual or automatic positioning of the solid
- Manual or automatic metering of up to 8 test fluids
- Various heating/cooling chambers for different measuring tasks
- Simple measurement even of large sample surfaces (DSA100 with large frame)
Handheld Bubble Pressure Measurement
The novel tensiometer PocketDyne is characterized by its high flexibility and mobility in use. One can measure under any conditions and in virtually any beaker, container or tank. The ease of use is underlined by its robustness and ergonomic design. The PocketDyne can be operated using one hand only with the three large function keys easily accessible by the thumb.
All data is stored automatically and can be downloaded via USB at a later stage. The measurement runs automatically, surface age or bubble frequency is adjustable over a wide range. Thus surface active material can be characterized fast - and complete compared with devices which offer just limited and fixed settings for surface age.
